Elastic Wax Center provides an excellent service in a warm, comfortable and hygienic environment by highly skilled estheticians who know what they are doing. They take the pain and awkwardness out of this service. Cristina knows a great deal about how to maintain healthy skin and is a useful and knowledgeable resource. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I have gone to their location on 29th Street and 29th Avenue and will definitely return.

Love this spot! So clean and easy. Christina is amazing and has assembled a wonderful team. Everyone is super friendly and quick, without pain. I see Lilyan about one a month and she's always on time and gets me out right away. Definitely recommend over the big chains!

Super clean, amazing friendly service. Cristina is amazing, as is the one other woman who has worked on me there, the name of whom escapes me at the moment. Elastic Wax is truly top notch, and I was incredibly nervous my first time. They were informative, comforting, and great about everything. They're always on time, the side is impeccable and despite what's taking place, the conversation is always jovial.

Stay away! I came because of the good reviews, but I was clearly mislead. The woman with whom I had an appointment with, I believe Christina was her name, started by being 20 minutes late. Granted, the trains can be bad sometimes, but if you can’t make it there by 11:30am at least apologize. She waxed my arms and face. My arms had bits of wax all over them when I got home. I had to pick them off for 20 minutes. Then she waxed my face, and ripped my skin off (see picture below). My skin was clean and clear before I stepped foot in Elastic Wax Center. On top of that, all of the hair is still on my face. I didn’t realize the massacrare until later. I really wish I hadn’t tipped her. Learn from my mistake and don’t waste your money.
