This was the first time I've seen Dr. Tim Roth & his staff. I was nervous at first, but after I met his PA ( Sam ) & the other girl ( forgot her name ) , I felt very relaxed & comfortable, before the doctor came in. The nurses were very personable, & friendly. They were very knowledgeable when I asked them questions regarding my urinary/bladder problem. Then Dr. Tim Roth came into the room. As soon as I saw his neat appearance, smiles, and being so friendly, he made me very comfortabile & relaxed as he asked me about what issues I had. He listened carefully, and answered my questions, He explained what we could do in the meantime before I see him again to talk about possible surgery. With him doing it and the great reputation he has, I'm not worried. He has a great reputation ( I hear ) at Sherman Hospital, besides seeing patients for treatments & surgery in his office also. The visit was on time, DR. Roth was prepared from reading records I had sent to his office and my questions were answered. I don't know how much more could have been accomplished.
Dr. Roth's bedside manner is quite pleasant and I very much appreciate him fitting me into his busy schedule. However I would like to suggest that his staff give out either written materials or website URL's to allow people like me to learn more about how their condition compares to norms and what can be done about it. As an example, I went on-line and did extensive reading that told me what are the normal ranges for urinary output for a person my age and what exercises can be done to improve a person's ability to resist the urge to urinate, which decreases night time trips to the bathroom. By following these simple procedures I was able to both measure and compare my average output to my age group and to increase my output by 30% in less than 2 week.
Dr. Roth is an upbeat helpful doctor. He's easy to talk to and his recommendation has worked.
It was like a breath of fresh air to see how Dr. Roth and his staff handled my case. They listened and were very communicative.
