I definitely can recommend Elite Customs for car stereo installation. I had them install 6 new Sony Speakers for my Honda CRV \premium\ sound system that sounded hollow and cheap. My main complaint was that the front factor tweeters were overpowering the sound. John suggested some crossover speakers and added a reducer to the new tweeters in the front. The new speakers sounded so much better but still were a bit lacking in the high range. So I asked him if I could bring the car back and remove the reducers and see if that would help with the highs. I offered to pay him for his extra time (which was less than 30 minutes) but he said it wasn't necessary. He even threw in a quick lesson on speaker technology and why the new tweeters didn't have the same overpowering problem as the cheap factory tweeters. The sound now is so MUCH better. With the help of Elite Customs I can now actually love my car. One happy customer.

These guys are the best!! I met John a few years ago, after just moving to Austin, when I was looking for a shop to re-align my after market headlights. John was working at another shop at the time, and I ended up having a poor experience with other people at the shop and went somewhere else. After the shop closed, John saw a negative review I had written for the old shop and reached out to me on Facebook to let me know he was opening his own shop and would be happy to help me there. I thought this was an outstanding gesture on his part and I really appreciated him taking the time. A few years went by and I didn't need any custom work until my headlights were damaged in an accident. Covert Collision repaired the damages on my car and let me pick a new after market headlight kit. I asked them to just install the part and I would take it to a custom shop to get the wiring done. My car was ready at about 3 pm the day after Christmas. I called Elite Customs to see if they would be able to look at it and they said they had time that same day (!). I picked the car up and took it to John and his brothers at around 4:30. Despite them closing at 6 they wanted to get started right away and finished the wiring on the spot! I was very impressed with the eagerness of John and Paul and how quickly they finished the work up. Mike chit chatted with me a bit while I waited which was nice and made the time go by faster. All three brothers are very friendly and really have the customer's best interest in mind. They were easy to work with, even with the collision shop being involved, and in fact said they would have preferred to work closer with the collision shop so the work could have been finished all at once. Will definitely be going back here!!

Absolutely recommend this place. I only asked them to do the wiring, but i regret i didnt have everything done by them. I spend days trying to figure out how to do the install and the wiring to save a few bucks, not worth it. They are the experts after all. Something that took me days to attempt to figure out, it took them less than an hour and they had other customers while helping me. Dont waste your time in something you aren’t supposed to do, take it to the pros instead.

My overall experience with this business was superb. Before going I called to asked some questions and I got a quick and helpful response. When I got there they were very helpful in assisting me with subwoofer wiring and showed me how to work my radio better, they definitely know what they’re doing. Best experience I’ve had with an audio shop.

Do yourself a favor and come to these guys first. I wasted tons of time and money having another local company do my install and they messed it up big time. In one hour the guys at Elite Customs had my DVD/Nav system out, problems fixed, and back in again. Thanks again for being really professional and fixing my wiring issue.
