Great little shop and the museum was cool. The kids loved the taxidermy! The woman running the shop was really nice, even to my crazy 4 year old who had been in the car too long and wanted to touch everything!

The museum was amazing. Can't wait to take my grandson. The shop had all kinds of neat items for sale. The owners are wonderful.

An amazing little museum with over a century of Native American, Wildlife and Natural History. The animal mounts are beautiful and the Native American artifacts are like stepping back in time. Don't let the size fool you, it may appear small and unassuming from the outside, but you could spend hours inside taking in all the history and hearing stories from the owners. Dont miss this gem when in Northern Michigan!

This place is amazing. The owner is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. The museum is filled with a variety of different taxidermy animals in dioramas. The family has owned and operated this place for it years and created all the dioramas. There is a lot of taxidermy there that can’t be do anymore and he knows the story behind everyone of the animals. If you get the chance to have a conversation with him I suggest you give yourself the gift of that. And than you can support them by purchasing something from the gift shop. The gift shop is large and they also carry moccasins. There is so much to see so make sure to a lot yourself sometime. Also the jacket is his and he was cool enough to let me try it on and pose. worth it!

Great taxidermy work. Best native arrow head collection in the north. Worth checking out.
