I stopped by to grab a smoothie and it was delicious! There were a ton of options to choose from- I landed on the blueberry cobbler, so good. I felt the store was clean and the employees were all masked and gloved which is important to me. I went back to try one of the prepared meals and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It definitely tasted fresh and totally filled me up. Great place to pop in for a healthy snack or quick meal.

Have stopped by a few times this week to pick up a smoothie, meal prep, açaí bowl and juice. I have to say, I’m extremely excited for what Empire is bringing to the area. I have been waiting for a place like this that offers quality fresh meals at an affordable price. Also, had a few questions on proteins and the manager was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend- you definitely earned my business!
Empire Nutrition is a wonderful addition to the Montclair area that will undoubtedly be a hit. I had the Peanut Butter Cup smoothie and my girlfriend had the Berry Blast smoothie. Both were awesome. As for the meal preps, I had the chicken Caesar wrap and it was really good. Also, the chocolate chip muffins are to die for.
So I have been here twice already. Once was to just say hi, second time was to actually try some items on the menu. Let me say, this place is amazing. Their fruit is all fresh, and they bowls and smoothies are the perfect consistency. I also purchased some overnight oats and some protein muffins, just to have something for breakfast, and something sweet in the house. OMG, when I tell you how fantastic the oats are... you must try ( and this is coming from someone who has made overnight oats for years)- They win this contest hands down. Cannot wait to make this an almost daily thing. Not only for myself, but I was told they can take the protein powder out of whichever item for KIDS as well!!! I love a family friendly place!
I came in with high expectations, but was severely disappointed with the prepared meals which were flavorless and expensive based on the portion. I couldn't care less about masks, but I believe employees should handle produce with latex gloves and wash their hands after handling payment, neither of which were done for the smoothies being prepared for other customers.
This is exactly what Montclair needed. I am extremely consistent with my fitness and the wide spread variety of what Empire offers matches perfectly with a healthy lifestyle. The protien shakes are tasty, different than any other establishment and perfect for pre or post workout. I appreciate the variety of meal preps they offer. Everything I’ve had so far has been great and so convenient that they list their Macro’s and calories. I’ve really never seen anything like this in the area and I will most definitely be a regular at this place. Their menu is fresh, innovative, and filled with options for just about anyone. Thank you for opening! MUCH needed!
Bought 2 prepared meals, both tasted stale. Supplements are overpriced.
