What had originally attracted me to Gaspar's was the awesome prices on normally overpriced specific brands I was looking for and his dive charter location selections and price. I have been visiting this area for 7 years before I finally moved the family down about six months ago. I was recently certified before I moved down and was invited to my first dive trip out on the gulf for some spearfishing with the local pros and the owner himself. I was a bit nervous being so unskilled but Joe took me right under his wing. He was very patient and allowed me to slowly get comfortable to diving in an ocean versus the lakes I was used too. My experience was about as non as it gets and I had made about every nervous/rookie mistake there was. It never phased him or the crew. He really enjoys doing this and it shows. Throughout this trip I never once felt like I was an inconvenience to anyone or rushed out of my comfort zone. Turns out I ended up having an absolute blast and it has now become the thing I will look forward to next. In the end there really aren't a lot of small business owners who have this type of devotion and patience to their trade. The family who owns this place have really devoted their lives to the sport and it shows through their experience. It's these types of businesses that make Southwest Florida the very special place that it is, and I hope if you are reading this that you add Gaspar's dive and board on to your stops when visiting. You will not be let down to say the least. Thank you Joe Chlebowski and everyone at Gaspar's Dive and Board for giving me a fantastic memory and I look forward to the next.

Went through the scuba diving course with Joe, he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about all things scuba related, very good and detailed trainer. Everyone at the dive shop was extremely helpful making the whole process a lot smoother. Would recommend to any and everyone thinking of getting certified. I have been going to this shop for a few years now. I trust them to service my gear and keep me safe. The atmosphere is great! Stephanie is a terrific diver and talented photographer. She is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I don't know anyone better than Joe for repair and maintenance of equipment. I trust him implicitly. As an avid diver I rely on my gear nearly every weekend and knowing that Joe has serviced it gives me a peace of mind that allows me to enjoy my experiences completely. This is a great dive shop and you won't find better ppl.
