A couple years ago I had them install a new furnace. While the installer was here he insisted I needed a new AC. He had the company call me to also tell me I needed a new AC. We kept going back and forth with calls and the installer that I needed to replace my AC that same day. And that the salesman should have told me. Finally I told them my AC was working when they came and better be working when they left. I have not had no problem with my ‘old’ AC. Also their oil prices were always way higher than the prices my family members were paying with their oil companies.

Terrible customer service and then they lie about conversations and change the details. I had a number of long conversations telling them to stop delivering to my elderly mom because they were charging her over 50 cents more per gallon then the company we wanted to use. But they just kept showing up and putting fuel in and charging their ridiculous rates. When I call back (a number of times) they changed the details of the last phone conversation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY... Mr. Hoffberger would die if he knew how this company was treating his old customers.

The supposed helpful budget billing is worthless, and even after requesting a partial fill at the end of the winter (which would carry us through the beginning of next season), they delivered a full tank and are now trying to collect 700 from us. Not happening. We asked for no more than 300 worth of oil. You can't live up to customer requests, we're not living up to you requests for bill payment.

Let me run out of oil while on auto-delivery and did not listen to me when I told them it was low, guaranteed I would not run out because they kept track, while I ran out of oil that night. Said they would come in the morning between 8 & 10 am with a technician to prime the furnace and a small supply of oil until the truck come come two days later- took off work sat in the cold for a NO SHOW. Called while I waited on hold an hour and was told they would be there between 7 & 10 pm another NO SHOW. Called and waited for over an hour and they said there would be there by midnight while I waited up for them they were a NO SHOW. Was then told I would be the first appt in the morning at 8 am, unbelievably, they were a NO SHOW. Called again to fire them, they said they would send a technician and oil delivery that day I told them I was not going to count on it after they let me run lout on auto delivery and didn't show up for 4 times over two days while I had no heat. I went out and got some diesel at the gas station and put in in my oil tank and contacted Griffiths who sent a technician within a half hour. People say that companies don't care and I really don't expect a business to care about me but there is a professional standard if they want my business and this company doesn't care and has no professional standards.

Promise to come to fix furnace snd never did. Didnt care that a elderly person was living in the home and had no heat for 5 days. Put on hold for about an hour only to be told that she must wait another two days before someone to come and look at it. This company left an elderly women in zero degree weather for 5 days.
