Mame is the kind of place where you would do best to trust the kitchen blindly (if you have allergies or preferences they are happy to take that into account). The food is consistently exceptional, not just the best in town but easily in the top 1% of places in the Pacific Northwest and some of the best eating I have ever done. I sometimes miss home, I often miss family, but I *always* miss Mame.

By reservation only, this place is small but intimate. My wife and I ordered the omnivore and double sushi which is what the recommend order for 2 people splitting the meal. This is a 7 course meal (4 courses of 2 Nigiri each and 3 courses of what the kitchen serves) You don't pick what your getting, you just go with the flow. All sushi was amazingly fresh. Mood lighting is slightly low. The waitress was very upbeat but seemed scripted. Besides that she had excellent customer service. Bathroom is outside and around the back of the building. That was a little weird and quite sketchy at first. Great experience and I would go again.

Not the only the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in the state of Oregon but quite possibly the best restaurant. The food was impeccable as well as the experience. We were lucky and sat at the bar and were able to learn a lot about the restaurant and chef which was awesome. Only knock would be it is extremely small and can get a little loud — we want and game day so probably a little rowdier crowd. All around AMAZING

By reservation only, Amazing authentic sushi from a true Japanese sushi chef from Japan, you can taste the alcohol on the sushi from being freshly cured and served up. They are such fun people, great atmosphere, the inside is tiny and looks like a dive, do not let this deceive they are not cheap, but for good reason, this is the best sushi i have had in my life. Make sure to get the double mixed order, 80 for two, but you get to try everything, well worth it. Truly an amazing chef, they even made the the mayonnaise, to make the tarter sauce fresh to our order. nothing is pre-made at Mame's our taste buds still cannot believe the experience we had. Not only was this the best sushi we ever had, it was hands down some of the best food we ever had in our lives.
We went on a night that was pretty busy, but they took very good care of us. The seafood was phenomenal, as you'd expect. The atmosphere is interesting, the space is very small and entirely green, but the staff and food won us over. Neither the restaurant nor bathroom are wheelchair accessible. I recommend the multi course meal, and letting them choose your beverage pairing
Amazing experience! The sushi was THE BEST EVER and the service was fantastic. I feel like I've been welcomed into an exclusive club whose only requirement for membership is that you actually go there. If you haven't tried it, you must go!
