The best chocolate cake ever!! No joke. I’m glad I’m not living close to this place, otherwise I would eat nothing but this cake. The coffee was pretty decent too. And the caramel apples looked pretty delicious!
We came in on a hot and muggy afternoon. Apparently my face mask had slipped down my nose as the lady in the shop quickly barked at me to cover my nose. I would have walked right out, except my 2 kids were with me and were excited to get a treat. A cookie and peanut butter cup set me back almost 8, then I ran for the door.
I visited on Labor Day weekend 2020, I give this business five stars only based on the products I purchased and cuteness of the store! Truly my service started out horrendous, there was a sign posted on the door that stated 8 person limit in the store. Upon stepping inside, I personally counted about 7 making myself #8. After standing at the counter for less than 2 seconds a lady loudly and rudely shouted there were too many people in the store we needed to leave (no please proceeded nor followed her declaration). I completely understand we’re all trying to normalize in the midst of a pandemic. May I suggest placing an employee outside to help monitor the business entering and exiting and not leave it up to the customers discretion when to enter your establishment! Thank you
This place has a large selection of sweet things such as chocolate cakes and ice cream, as well as a full range of coffee drinks and some basic sack lunches to enjoy around town or in the ice cold AC. The staff are courteous and helpful. The lights are also quaintly dim providing a nice rustic ambience.
