Our 15 year old son is an RC enthusiast. We had recently been searching for nearby flying locations and was fortunate enough to discover the CFSF website. I contacted the president via email and was very pleased to receive a warm and helpful response inviting us to be his guest at the next flying field session. Walt was helpful getting our son registered as a junior member and introducing him to others. All of the members have been friendly and encouraging to our son. I especially appreciate that they welcome junior members and encourage them to be involved as much as they are able. The Central Florida Sports Flyers are a friendly community that offer a safe, clean flying field at an affordable cost.

A nice and a quiet place to fly. We were let to use the field one Saturday afternoon with friends visiting from up north. Club members here are very friendly and welcoming.
After flying RC helicopters for many years, I wanted to learn how to fly planes. After looking online for possible clubs to join I contacted Central Florida Sport Flyers. Walt promptly responded and asked me to come out to the field to meet some of the members. I was looking for a family friendly club with members willing to help an older gent like me learn the basics. Walt, Jim, and everyone I met that day were extremely friendly and helpful. I received an excellent tour of the field as well as a thorough safety brief. Jim setup my plane in buddy box mode and I had a fantastic time learning the basics. Jim is a fantastic, patient, courteous instructor and took the time to teach me how to fly. I found everything I was looking for and more. Whether you are an experienced or novice flyer make sure you come and check out this club. I'm sure happy I did.
I was looking for Club after moving from Cincinnati and getting back into the hobby. I emailed Walt and he immediately responded and asked me to come to the field. CFSF was a welcoming and affordable club. Walt has been a very helpful and a welcoming member of this club And everyone I have met so far seems to be genuinely friendly.
