We are located out of state, but were impressed with her credentials, so decided to try Skype lessons. Her organization, thorough methods and clear homework sheets impressed me very much. She has the student work on theory, ear training, composition as well as learning new pieces and scales. Love her program and would recommend her instruction to anyone who wants to learn well. My son's piano skills have skyrocketed in just 2 months. Skype lessons were much better than I had expected. I was tentative at first because it felt like piano lessons should be live, but we purchased a good quality microphone and set up the laptop so she can see the student. Not only does she coordinate live recitals throughout the year, she holds group classes and professional testing which can be taken at a location near you. Last month, through Skype, we even participated in a special group lesson with her other students! Don't let distance stop you! This is much better than a YouTube video! Personally tailored, and also able to teach ADHD kids.

Diana has been teaching both our kids for three years now. Not only are we consistently impressed by the progress they are making, but they both definitely enjoy their lessons. Diana not only works on theory and classical piano repertoire pieces, but also allows them to choose other pieces that they are motivated to learn. Diana's students also have opportunities to participate in piano teams, which my son has especially enjoyed, and in competitions, assessments, festivals and other fun activities.
Diana Dallas is an excellent, experienced piano teacher who has been very patient and accommodating with me and my little brother for the past two years (about). My technique and playing have increased greatly under her tutelage, and I'd recommend her to any student interested in a piano teacher.
