Have for many years had excellent care from Dr. Dahlgren and his staff, including an injury on a holiday. Everyone has been very caring and continues to promote my eye health! The new office is beautiful as well!

I've been a patient of Dr. Dahlgren's for many years now and have always been pleased with his service and that of his staff.

Keep looking. You can find better care elsewhere. Questionable billing practices and unimpressive visit! I was sent by my primary doctor to this office for an immediate emergency medical check of my eye. I did as was suggested due to her high level of concern. Upon arrival I was acknowledged as the \emergency\ patient. Despite my visit being an urgent medical matter, the appointment was billed as a ew patient vision\ visit. There is a big difference as far as insurance is concerned. This way of billing cost me a fortune. I requested the bill/code be changed to reflect what actually took place, but I was told \they only bill one way\. Conveniently, instead of a co-pay, this way they can bill me for a much larger amount. (I have been seen at another ophthalmologist office for a similar appointment and billing was not an issue) When I called to ask about this, the associate was rude and unprofessional. My letters to the billing department have been consistently ignored. In addition, I would agree with the previous reviewer who stated the office is outdated. Lastly, the doctor assured me it wouldn't be a problem for me to drive to Milwaukee (from my appointment) even though he had just dilated my eyes. I couldn't see much of anything - very dangerous! I had to use my own better judgement. Take some time and do your research before scheduling here!

Most of the staff and Dr. was very friendly, but my client has dementia and hearing loss and the nurse was less than patient with her. She made several rude sighs indicating her frustration. I would suggest a lesson on how to deal with senior patients. It should never have to be the patients fault they are behind schedule or have dificulties they cant help. Someday this could be you.

Had a painful eye problem, Dr. Veith was ready to do corrective surgery, When the administrative aide, \Angela\ was asked to check my insurance, she claimed she called and that my insurance company, Cigna, required prior approval and a 10 day wait. She was lying. She never called. When I called, I was told \Cigna doesn't require prior approval for that\. I was not given any treatment. Stay away, this place doesn't prioritize patient care.
