I am very grateful for the help they provided us during a difficult time. I highly recommend them. They were helpful, compassionate and kind. The facility was perfect for the funeral. The zoom online portion worked very well. The graphics for the picture dvd was extremely well down. They knew what to do and helped us get through a very difficult time. Five stars for sure.

When my best friend's father passed away unexpectedly a couple of years ago, I helped her with all the arrangements. I recommended Fairfax Memorial to her since our friend's funeral and burial had been there in 2014. Rachael Harris was amazing to work with to manage my friend's dad's final affairs. My mother passed away on October 30, 2020. My first thought was Fairfax Memorial. And I was lucky enough to work with Rachael again. She was kind, caring and thoughtful. She worked diligently on our families behalf to get my mom's remains from the hospital, get the death certificate signed from a VERY slow medical examiner, and make sure everything was handled for the funeral mass at the church. She even checked in on me today to see how I was doing. I'm very grateful for her and for Fairfax Memorial. And the lovely English gentleman that answers the phone, Michael I believe is his name, calmed me every time I heard his voice. Such a kind person. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My father passed away unexpectedly in August. Adam Foster was our funeral director and he made an impossible event beautiful. He was patient with my family as we handled all the difficult details. He was knowledgeable and gentle in all his explanations. He was professional and facilitated all the interactions between our church and Arlington National Cemetery with ease . He never rushed us or pushed us to include things we did not wish to include. He was extremely kind and gentle. In fact, I found his presence very comforting. He is a gift to his profession and Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home is blessed to have him.

Upon my husband's recent, sudden death, my family and I had the blessing of having Adam Foster assist us through this difficult time. He was so supportive, kind, gentle and understanding. He supported every decision we had to make, assisting at every turn. The entire staff of FAIRFAX Memorial could not have been more helpful in ever aspect. I would highly recommend their facility. Nothing long winded here; 4 stars for Nicole, she was nice, helpful and kept us mostly informed. I deduct a star from this because it should never take 8 days for a cremation regardless of the stated reason. 1 star for the customer service. We had a 10am meeting to pick up the ashes, no one at the counter, nobody answering the ringing phones. We could see 2 men in another room, after 10 minutes both of them came out and neither one acknowledged us, not one word was said. After almost 15 minutes we had to create a scene to get anyone to help us. These times are bad enough, this just made it worse. To the business... people don't walk through your door to browse, you're dealing with people going through their worst moments in life, acknowleding and showing some interest should be the very least to expect from your service.
