I had a difficult situation with my car (battery died in the parking lot) when picking up my dog from surgery and the staff was very patient and accommodating. MandiLynn and Mike jumped my car and held Archie until I could return with a new battery. They made a stressful situation much easier for me than it could have been. Great service, and GOOD, good people. They will always have my business.

I would recommend a different center. Their current parking lot no-contact system is unorganized and wait times can be very long, especially for medicine pick-up. I’m also not a fan of not being able to go inside the building. Pet care seems marginal at best and this is not the best place for personalized care. I’m sure their emergency clinic is great, but the few experiences my pet and I had there, left much more to be desired.

I cannot recommend after unnecessary services nearly killed my dog. My dog threw up a few times in a week so I brought her in. They took X-rays and ultrasound and said there was a puzzle piece in her stomach. I agreed to endoscopy and surgery if necessary. During endoscopy her heart rate spiked and they could not continue with the operation. The next day the ultrasound comes back clear and the diagnosis is gastroenteritis. The costs for these services were astronomical and they were ultimately unnecessary. After speaking with Anne in client services, I was told they’d use this as a training opportunity. Hopefully no one else has to go through this with their beloved pets.

We have used the wonderful ,outstanding staff at Pender for our Maltese, Baby Doll and now our Poodle, Honey for the past 13 years and have always received top quality care. From the doctors on through to the great staff there just is no other option for us other than Pender Veterinary for a highly skilled clinic/hospital that offers full service along with love and compassion for our little dears. Finally, is the call one receives from attending doctor after treatment, inquiring how the \little one\ is responding to treatment. That defines \full service\ in our book and places Pender Vet at the top.
