Due to COVID, their office is not open for in person appointments. I had some questions about changing my name for my social because the print off papers state you need something different from what it states you need online. I called for clarification and immediately the woman who took my call was extremely rude and had an awful attitude and tone. She told me she “didn’t like pulling up the instructions and reading them verbatim but she would if I would like to read them along with her”. After telling her that I can in fact read and what the issue was, she cleared her attitude up just a little. Sorry to have wasted 5 minutes of your day ma’am. Gave 2 stars only because I got the clarification I needed.

Due to COVID they are strictly on the phone or by mail, but they are the least helpful office I’ve experienced. Deal with the Mobile office they are far more helpful. I’ve sent in the correct forms to apply for a new card twice and it’s merely been sent back to me without any explanation. I’d understand if they were “in person” but they aren’t so they should step it up.

I’ve had to stay in touch with representatives over the phone. The people I have talked to have been rude and not helpful. I try to be really nice so I can get my information. They snap at you if you don’t understand what they are asking. I can’t wait until I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

I have been here for 2 1/2 hours. Saw a lady (Miss Wright) that couldn’t explain why I owed money. She was rude and impatient. She said she didn’t know why I owed the money and said I would have to talk to someone in the back to explain it to me. Been waiting another hour and still have not been called back to talk to someone...
