If you are in this area we very highly recommend coming here. The fact that they taken Covid 19 to heart and used there common sense about there approach to the use of a no mask policy will keep me coming back. It's about time the owners of the restaurants take back there living. I applaud them. I have a lot more to say but just want to say food was delicious.

Booked a room here online from their site, which said online bookings came with 10% off on site restaurant and a free bottle of champagne. Received neither. As other recent reviews stated, hosting staff did not wear masks, no biggie to me, as we wore n95s. Room was cute and clean, loved that the unoccupied rooms were left open so we could look in. Loved that they provided shampoo/conditioner/bodywash in our private bathroom....there was no exhaust in the bathroom though...so shower steam filled the room. Had a fabulous dinner and MANY drinks downstairs, service was excellent, our waitress did wear a mask, tables were spaced. Bar service was great. Zero complaints about the restaurant staff. Zero complaints about the room. Only complaint i have is we did not receive the bottle of champagne or 10% off in restaurant that the website promised when booking online. Small disappointment, would still stay again. Also, the Butcher shop they own next door is INSANE! wish they were opened on Sunday (we stayed on a Saturday) because I really wanted to buy a bunch of bison and pheasant meat but had no way to safely store it.

We love the food at this restaurant, and the atmosphere. We recently went out of our way to stop for dinner because they were reopening April 1 after PA began indoor dining again. We felt like we were in some other world when we realized that NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK! Even the waitress approached our table without a mask! Feeling incredulous at this rude and “in your face” flaunting of the local COVID public health rules, I asked the waitress if they did not have to be wearing masks as they do everywhere else. She said “no, we don’t, but I have one in back”. I assumed she would go and put it on, but she reappeared at our table several times after, without it. We have a newborn grandson we were going to visit the next day. I couldn’t believe how rude the management of this establishment was to not consider the health impact of their customers! It made me so sad because I love going to the place! Just could NOT BELIEVE WHAT I was seeing!!

Ordered 3 main dishes, an appetizer and drinks. After placing our order we noticed our drinks sitting on the bar for over 15 minutes. We had to go get them ourselves. Our waitress never noticed. We never saw her again until she brought our main course. We never got our appetizer and she also never noticed that. The food was great. She never came to check on us again until we got our check. We were charged for the appetizer and also for coleslaw which was included with the meal. We did bring this to their attention and had them both removed from the bill. Would have rated this at 5 stars due to the food but for the price and stature of this resturant the service was unacceptable. Sad to say but we wont return.

Absolutely disgusting, black pieces found in water, and no one was wearing a mask! Despite the health guidelines saying they are required not even waiters or waitresses. I hate it here, the people were rude and i did not eat in fear of contracting covid. These are serious issues and i would never recommend this place to anyone. Be careful here! All good reviews are trumpies!

On a positive note, the Inn is very quaint. The Braddock room has a high bed, so be sure if you stay in that room you can climb up into it. The reason I am giving it only 2 stars is because of the noise from the highway right out front. It is non stop traffic noise, not to mention the headlights continuing through out the night, eighteen wheelers included. I don't know how the noise is in the back of the Inn but I can't imagine it would be that much better since the building is small. It was so noisy we left a day early. Also, there was no one to great us when we arrived late in the afternoon. We had to get the room key from the butcher next door, who was not very friendly, informing us he was only the butcher when we asked him some questions. The restaurant/bar were not open on the Tuesday evening we stayed. We were able to find a place ample down the road that stayed open until 7 pm.

Prime rib was a bit dry.. no auju to dip it in, waitress didn't tell us specials I asked what they were when she came to get our order, didn't give us options on sides, shoestring fries and green beans are what we got.
