I went to the emergency dental clinic, the dental student extracted my tooth, causing dry socket. I went to the emergency room to see the woman THREE TIMES until I went to a different hospital and they gave me an antibiotic. All I needed was an antibiotic and she acted like I was trying to get drugs. Also in the process of the extraction the dentist damaged the tooth next to it, and They said I needed a root canal anyway which insurance wouldn’t cover due to the extraction of the tooth next to it. So I pay for the root canal for that tooth and the dentist tells me I need another root canal on the OTHER tooth next to the empty spot. She works on it for TWO AND A HALF HOURS, acknowledging that she isn’t done patches it up and sends me home in extreme pain, and says there are no open appointments available. Now it’s been two weeks, she told me “I’m just very sensitive “ and has yet to get back to me about finishing this root canal that hurts. This place is an absolute joke. I can’t even go to a different dentist because I’ve paid for half the job and no one will touch it since UConn started it. I will NEVER come back here again.

Great place! Dr. Haderlie was amazing. My dentist today praised his work. Pain free, and the best prices state wide. Would return.

Went to Uconn in July 2019 one morning after waking to a swollen face. Had major dental surgery here back in the 90's. Was told I needed surgery to see was going on. August 2019 took implants out to start surgery, my blood pressure was to high so they postponed my surgery. With their surgery schedule being so full I had to wait for availability. Late December they call and give me a march 2020 date for the surgery Corvid-19 hit and I had to wait until july. Go three days before to get my corvid-19 test because you can't go in the hospital or have surgery without one. Arrived for my procedure and after taking more x-rays was told surgery is no longer needed. Was told everything looks good to be looking out for a call to put my implants back in. Well its now January 2021 and I still haven't received a call or a letter about putting my implants back in but I've surely received calls and letters from their surprised billing system. Uconn took my implants out for a procedure they say I needed and they should be responsible to put them back in after they said the surgery wasn't needed!!!! I NEED MY IMPLANTS BACK NO STAR FOR A JOB NOT FINISHED!!

Been going here for 6 months and have yet to see a doctor. The dental hygienists who clean your teeth are great, but I wouldn't know about the doctors - they cancel/reschedule EVERY appointment and in fact turn you away if you show up 5 mins late for your appointment (this actually happened today, prompting me to write this review). I was already in the parking lot outside for my appointment, when they called me and told me that I couldn't be seen because \the doctor is already running behind and has to meet with a medical student in 30 minutes so she'd be late to that meeting if she saw me.\ Me, a patient who was on her schedule and was already in the parking lot. I am a physician myself and would NEVER put a meeting like that above a patient who was scheduled to see me. (Then again, I seem to have much better time management skills than these people...) I would STRONGLY recommend against them, and would give 0 stars if possible. The front desk staff is also incredibly rude and difficult to work with. I am in the market for a new dental practice if anyone has suggestions!
