I was there a couple years ago. The counselor was a joke. They kicked me out with nowhere to go, but kept other women there longer. There was one really good worker that worked the front desk. She was the only one who cared.

First and foremost, these people are simply amazing, caring, and the most understanding women you will ever meet. They literally saved my families life and there is nothing I can say or do to thank then enough!! I recommend then to EVERYONE going through the sane thing we did. Thank you!!

I went to this shelter to get help for being in a Domestic Violence relationship I didn’t get until 6 months later. A new client came in I reported EVERY situation from harassment to threats against my children and I My assailant knew someone that came in I told them about the young lady and how she went and told him where I was and they kept the lady in the shelter. They threw me and my 2 children out with NO RESOURCES and dumped all of our clothes and food in garbage bags like we were animals.. This place isn’t designed for Good Mother’s who really take care of their children but for Women who lay around and have no get up about themselves, If you are they give you a hard time and act like it’s a problem..
