I loved this place. Friendly staff, stocked convenience store, and clean bathrooms. I had to take one point away for spiders and water bugs that take over at night fall. I just didn't expect that many! my family has been a couple times since our first time. The area is pretty open so put a lig jacket on the little ones.
A former co-worker and I come here to bait fish inside a breakwater structure outside the marina. Using minnows or worms, we usually sack 'em up. Crappie, black bass, channel cats, perch, drum, etc. We always release our catch.
Nice fishing spot. Great for kids and the wife
I like the area as far as riding the Jetskis and renting boats, but the area where you fish is not open enough. When the boats go in and out, it scares the fish...
