I went on a trail ride at Fitzjoy this past weekend with my \little\ from Big Brothers Big Sisters. It was nice that the company only allows up to 4 individuals at a time on the ride due to Covid (as well as following other appropriate protocols). In addition to increased safety, this made for a more intimate experience. Our guide, Leesa, was very kind and accommodating. She was helpful, friendly and encouraging and you could tell she loved her job and each of the horses. The trail itself is mostly through the trees with a couple meadows. We went on the 10:30 a.m. ride, which resulted in perfect weather and sunshine without it being too hot or strong. It also appeared that the children learning riding were well organized and enjoying themselves (though we did not participate in that activity). I look forward to returning in the future!

Did the 1 hour trail ride here. Overall it was quite nice. It's basically a slow ride through the woods next to the farm. The group was five including the guide. The horses looked great and well taken care of. Their demeanor was pleasant. The guide, Lisa was nice and so was the front desk. Icing on the cake was being able to spend some time after the ride to pet and feed the horses some carrots! Things to improve: 1. Because you move at the pace of the slowest in the group some of the more advanced riders felt it a bit boring. 2. The trail ride itself is less than an hour, probably about 35 - 40 mins. Because it's so cheap, accessible and relaxing, I will return to build more of a repertoire with the farm.

The day of my ride I was making good travel time til I got on 80 west. My friend, who already arrived was communicating with them 20 minutes prior to our scheduled ride time. I was going to be 8 minutes behind. The lady (wish I remembered her name) said they leave on time and if cant arrive by ride time I would have to reschedule, which I wasnt debating. However, the part where I'm told over the phone that I will not get my money back, in addition to paying for another ride in order to reschedule was the surprising part. I can't do nothing but respect a bsns THAT verbally advise you on their policies and expectations at the time of scheduling, or by email, or that they refer you to website to view but they didn't, but made it her point to say she has a bsns to run. Assuring good customer experience whether you're inquiring or participating should be one of them.

the best farm you can ever go to. Very welcoming, warm and comfortable atmosphere to be in and the workers are just amazing. 100000 out of 10 would recommend to ANYONE

I had a pleasant experience, it was my first time being around horses but they were well trained and easy to deal with.
