If I could give negative stars I would. I keep receiving phone calls from them (10 this week alone and it’s only Thursday). If I pick up the phone and say hello they hang up me. If I let it go to voicemail they don’t leave a message. When I call the number back they won’t give you any information, they just keep saying they need your name and phone number so they can look up your account. Finally after I called back multiple time one of the operators said that I was calling merchants and medical a company that does multiple things. They said I needed to give them my information so they could tell me why they are calling. I asked if they need my information why do they keep hanging up on me when I answer. She also hung up on me. They are very rude, and disrespectful. They will never get my cooperation if they continue to behave in this manner. The operators need major retraining.

If there is a selection for not giving any stars, it will be my choice. Just like most of reviews were given, those people were rude and not professional. Putting down wrong statements and hung up on me this morning because I did not want to provide them my personal information before I understood the issue. Not sure why this company still can survive in this planet. Do all the debt collectors need to be mean and rude in order to do their job? I will place a complaint to one of their customers - Henry Ford Health System and try to understand why they are using this terrible service.
Merchants and Medical Credit were very professional when I called to inquire about a medical debt assigned to them. Quick correspondence for debt validation, correct information. Sent payment via mail and was sent paid in full statement very quickly and removed account from credit reports instantly without me even requesting.
