I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. They were there when I needed them to be. If not for the staff of this amazing program I honestly wouldn't be here today. I was wary of exactly what their definition of crisis intervention was, having experienced "crisis intervention" at its worst in the distant past but, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were and did exactly what they professed. Since my brief stint at Merrill, I have recommended it to others in need with the utmost confidence that the staff are perfectly suited to provide competant, professional, sympathetic, patient, considerate, thoughtful...; I could run on and on with regard to their offered attributes. The point of this comment is to let others know, if you are in need of immediate assistance, even if youre vacillating between needing help and maybe not needing help, error on the side of caution, you're not wasting anyone's time at Merrill. There is somewhere to go where you will not be judged for being real, honest, human ... you can feel your feelings at Merrill comfortably, naturally. I will absolutely rely on them in the future, should the need arise. If you want them to, if you let them, they can help you, help you, get thru. If they can't provide what you need, you won't be left hanging. They will provide you with resources. When you're ready to take advantage of those resources, you know who to call. I'm not completely thru my drama but knowing I have somewhere soft to land if I need to is making my journey easier to navigate. Thank you, to everyone at Merrill who stayed up with me all night while I literally passed thru the darkest hours of my adult life so I could celebrate my children's lives, and remember, I may be broken, and I may still be breaking but, I'm breaking into better shape. My children will see me come up from this a different person. Not a new one but a better one. God bless you all!!
