We adopted a 13 month old calico kitty through adopt-a-pet. It was super easy we applied for her one day and that night we got approved. She is an absolute love muffin and she is exactly how they described her. Which is perfect because she fits right in with us and has adjusted amazingly well. They kept up communication with us throughout the process of getting her home through email. Promptly answering any of our questions or concerns. We live in NH and they were able to transport her up at the Lowe’s close by. She came with her blanket, vet papers, and a bag full of her favorite food. Things to help her adjust better. We were expecting her to hide for a week or so but she came right out to us welcoming us warmly with purrs. We got her last Saturday and we really can’t imagine how life was without her. We highly recommend adopting from this humane society!!

Got a kitten a few weeks ago from here a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier! The shelter transported him up the coast quickly and provided me with supplies to help him ease the transition. His personality matches his description and I even got to talk to the foster mom to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this organization for a quick, caring and positive experience :)

I finally made the difficult decision to help put my sweet, beautiful best friend of fifteen years out of misery. The women who assisted me on that day, it was Thursday December 31, couldn't have been more helpful and understanding to me and my extremely sick, elderly kitty. I was right there holding him during the procedure. Mere seconds after the drug was administered, he let out a \sigh of relief.\ That assured me that he was suffering no longer. It seemed to me that although the place was quite busy, these employees were kind and caring! I didn't feel as if we were rushed at all! The fact that I was allowed to be present during that time means alot to me and I am so very sure that it meant the same to my sweet little boy! Thank you so very much

If I could have chosen zero stars I would have!! I adopted a sweet kitten only 3 months old named pear! She was suppose to be up to date with her shots, no fleas, and no worms which the 100 adoption fee was suppose to cover these expenses. When I got her she had fleas, hasn’t had any shots, and had tapeworm! I would never recommend adopting from this humane society! They don’t take care of the pets! She was also malnourished when I got her.

Adopted my cat from here and I’m so in love! The communication was consistent and quick. I applied, got approved and had my cat transported to NH in about a week. It was an easy and smooth process!
