Spent 3 overnights this past weekend. It was our \shake out\ weekend after purchasing a new travel trailer. Pull through slots are spacious and paved. The bath house is a close walk from just about every site. The layout of the bath house is nice, with family style facilities. Three Women's and three Men's individual rooms with sink, shower, and toilet. Soap and TP provided. High power hand dryers. The center part of the building is a laundromat, with modern washers and dryers. The entire campground overlooks a cove off the Potomac. Although a fishing pier is adjacent to the campground, warnings against eating the fish is posted (yucky Potomac water). Controlled access. Nearby trails for hiking/walking. I'm afraid the bar might be set high for future campgrounds!

Stopped over for a night on our way through. Gorgeous campground, and the bathhouse was so nice and clean. We will definitely come back to explore the area more. Just beautiful!

The camp is nice. I go there for the fishing. It is an awesome spot for catfish

The moving part is absolutely asinine. Reason given for the constant moving is “so people don’t homestead.” Literally the dumbest reason I’ve ever heard. Internet is spotty at best and goes out at any given time. No discount for any lengthy stay. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Overall, a clean, quiet, and beautiful location on the water with plenty of outdoor activities available. Each pad had full hook-ups (50/30 amp, 110, water, sewer, WiFi) and there's an on-site facility with bathrooms, hot showers, and laundry machines. The Outdoor Recreation Center is very close with plenty of equipment available to rent (kayaks, canoes, etc). Staff was friendly and attentive. There is a hiking trail nearby that goes all the way over to the other side of the cove. Also, there were a huge variety of song birds everywhere chirping away in a pleasant, not annoying way. There's a pier that you can fish from or just enjoy the view within walking distance. Absolutely recommend this place to stay!
