Usually, I wouldn't write up a review for a cab company, however, I decided to switch to them, since their service is at least one star above those who manage Friendly-Checker Taxi. More on Friendly-Checker later...
Well, here goes: First of all, the better points...1: They are usually on time. Without a doubt. And if you call them using your smartphone, you can actually track the location of your driver. The same can't be said about Friendly-Checker Taxi! 2nd: Usually, they send you text messages (Provided you call from at least a cell phone), which tell you not only how long you'll have to wait for a cab, but where they are on a map.
Now, here come the worse points...1: If you provide a destination at the end of your call, the cab driver will expect you to be dropped off, and thus you'll probably have to pay money to them, then call the company again. 2: Even if you request a round-trip fare, the driver may expect you to pay an 'insurance-fare' after your first stop, if you're heading to more than one place. 3: If bad luck finds you (As it often finds me) and you accidentally leave an item in the cab, then the driver may charge you 25 for him to return to your home and pick it up on the day it was lost...Dumb!! Otherwise, you'll have to wait until the next day for them to bring the item back to you. And there's no guarantee the driver will be 100% courteous to you, either. So, if you decide to use this company, then you'll have an advantage over Friendly-Checker, where, if you have a cell phone, you'll receive at least text alerts about your ride. Otherwise, be prepared to have cash and/or a credit or debit card on hand or in their system.
