4.5 stars! Tried this place on a Saturday during COVID-19. My friend and I came at 11:35am right after they opened at 11:30am trying to be early and avoid any crowds. We were the first table there and they took our temperature before seating us. The space is cute, no-frills, with cute lights. Got the gamjatang for 2 with fried rice added at the end. Also got the spicy stir fried pig trotters and that was SO GOOD. Our server was also super friendly and attentive. Fun vibes. It was the fried rice and jokbal for me.

The pork feet and kimchi gamja tang are AMAZING! The pork feet is lightly glazed and sprinkled with sesame. It tastes tender and fresh with a lot of chewy collagen. It’s not fatty at all, so you will only feel satisfactory but not heavy after the meal. Definitely a perfect low-carb dinner. Huge portions ( but in very decent price) for 2 people, and we left half for the next day’s lunch XD.

The cashier person was disgusting. When I arrived at the parking lot to pick up my food, I saw a man smoking. I thought he was a customer. When I entered the place, the man also came in and without wash or sanitize his hand, he handed my order. I was able to smell cigarette from him. To be honest, it was DISGUSTING. At least he needed to sanitize his hand. He touched the doorknob and smoked. I felt sick and dirty. I used to love food here, but I won't visit again. Very disappointed.

Authentic korean stew! Best in NY/NJ. Won't find this in manhattan korean town. Reminds me of the famous ones in Korea itself. It looks like hot pot but everything on it is cooked when served. It is served on top of a canister stove. Perfect for this autumn/winter weather. Very large portion, value for money! Free tea and outdoor dining/tent available. Staff are super friendly and helpful. If you're intimidated with dish, fear not, they are there to help!
