Can't say enough good things about this place. These people not only build an amazing boat at an awesome price, they back it up like no other company I've worked with. They will work with you on the build, allow some customization, and help you with anything that comes up after you take delivery. Considering the competition for this company is easily twice the price, its a no brainer to order a boat through Ankona/Salt Marsh.
Great staff, awesome management and second to none customer service! Erin and Rory made the buying process wonderful and have been very quick to answer all my questions and concerns. If want a boat that's made to fish, get skinny and won't break the bank then you won't be dissapointed in an Ankona!
I am the very happy owner of a Shadowcast 16, the boat is unbelievably light and strong, floats even skinnier than they advertise, handles confused chop better than boats that cost 3 times as much, and is the driest boat of its size I've ever been on. With a 25 HP she'll go faster than you'll ever want on almost no fuel. I'm 200 lbs, and with me and a tank of fuel in the back and nothing up front but an empty cooler she still runs level. I was lucky enough to be able to stop in and see the shop in person. Being able to see where the boats are made, and meet the people who make them makes all the difference in the world, and the pride of work and attention to detail is apparent with everything they do. The customer service was second to none, with Erin and Rory answering all of my questions, and even going so far as to measure the boat and trailer down to the inch to make sure it would fit in my garage, and waiting for me when I was running late to pick it up.
