Great section of the trinity trails. Many areas to park and get out enjoy nature. You can download a map of the trails online and see all it has to offer. Biking, fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking just to name a few.

I like the river front but there are caveats. There is a lot trash that has blown into and washed onto the river banks. I plan to go on regular basis to pickup trash, even if it's only a bag full at a time. My efforts probably won't be noticable, but I have been taught to leave a park or campsite better than I found it. At least I will know that I am doing my part. Additionally, when I was there last, the famous "Trinity sewage smell" was extra strong. Normally, the wind dilutes the smell making it only faintly noticable, but the wind had died down (at sunset). Other than that, a great asset to the city park system.
