I want to respond to last week's letter to the editor regarding the so-called \peaceful\ organized protest. A protest by someone living , working , worshiping and attending our schools here in our beautiful community. Frankenmuth is a community that I firmly believe each one of us are very proud and fortunate to live in. The reason for our community's response to the town leaders and the majority of our residences is not your beliefs of the B.L.M. protest, but it's the fact you brought that here to our town for no other reason than just pure publicity, personal gain, and for a pat on the back. Well I think the town spoke of your actions and you gained no pat on the back. It was more a slap in the face to the majority of us living here \NOT\ to bring such an activity to our town. It's negative news and publicity that does nothing positive for our community and any of us living here. You can defend it all you want to the fact that what \you\ organized was right , but next time do it somewhere else. DO NOT bring a potentially violent situation to a town where the majority of us tax -payers appreciate and respect our hard working men & women of law enforcement and are thankful \we\ all live in such a safe community because of them. You want to teach your children and be a better example? How about teaching them to fight the ight\ battles , not the ones that shouldn't and doesn't in all eality \ affect you. Period the end!! Local business owner and proud Frankenmuth resident.
