My family has been riding at Franktown Meadows for awhile now. It's the most family-friendly place we've ever ridden. My son and daughter will be competing in their first horse show next weekend, and they are so excited! Not only is the facility beautiful, with green pastures and views of Slide Mountain, but the horses all seem happy and well-taken-care-of. As a physician and mother, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone!

I didn’t check any of the reviews until I’ve had my experience with this business and it’s incredible how similar my experience was!! I wish I could leave negative stars. This is not the place you want to go if you want to learn anything or have a good time. They have crooked policies that they don’t inform you about, they blame you and charge you for lessons you didn’t purchase, the lessons are 20 minutes max and most of the “trainers” don’t even give you any pointers. It’s all about money and it totally lacks any human decency. There are better trainers and better places in this area.

The riding academy has brought excellence in horsemanship to its students. A gem of the Truckee Meadows!
