Lance and Boo make some of the best BBQ you’ll ever put in your mouth. On top of that, they are awesome people who treat everyone like family. Fredericksburg stole a great one from Houston!
We have had Eaker BBQ out to our apartment community events several times and first of all, the food is legit! Secondly, Lance and Boo Eaker are professional, communicative, and reliable. Thirdly, each time they have come out, they have had something new to try! Highly recommended!!!
What I love about Eaker Barbecue is that the heart and soul of the operation, Lance Eaker, is all about community. He shows up to support Texans in times of crisis, and thankfully so--his food is mouth-watering and delicious! Try some of his award-winning dishes like the pulled pork on creamed corn. My favorite is the brisket, especially paired at pop-ups in Vietnamese cuisine (pho). Yum! Good people. Good food. Good times.

I am new to buying food from trucks, but I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich from Eaker. Also, the gentleman taking orders seemed very happy and content. His attitude was definitely an added bonus to the whole experience. I wasn't too fond of the price, however. Eaker is serving Lone Star College Montgomery over the next couple of weeks, and I decided to try it. I was shocked by the 15 price tag for a sandwich and some fries, so I had the fries removed from the order. We're college students, we're broke and hungry, lol. I am tempted to give 4 stars, but the quality of the food was excellent, so I am going to give it 5. Eaker BBQ owner, if you see this, could you consider putting combos on your menu that are more affordable? I will end on a positive note, my sandwich was very delicious, and I might break down and go get some loaded fries before the truck leaves today just because I really wanted them before and the pulled pork sandwich was so good.
The pork tacos are awesome. The brisket was a little too greasy for me but still very good too.
