I can't think of a more pleasant place to spend an afternoon than La Bergerie's patio. The cheese and meat trays are superb, and there is an extensive choice of European, American and other wines. Table service outside is also very very good. The lovely Japanese Peace Garden is just across the street.

Loved their wine selection and the platter was phenomenal (both aesthetically and in taste). Staff was very courtesy. Most wine places are not children friendly, but the outdoor sitting here was great for my 2yo son.
Outstanding selection of unique wines. The meats are cured on site and the various chutneys exquisitely crafted. La Bergerie is by far one of the best tasting rooms in Fredericksburg.
What an experience in dining. Food was out of this world. Plus best Arnold Palmer I've had in quite awhile. Highly recommend. Quite a surprise...and I thought San Antonio had great food!
I had the most perfect afternoon here! Mary is a beautiful soul, so sweet and so kind. She also made me the most perfect charcuterie board I’ve ever had! I was in complete awe with each bite. All paired wonderfully with the French Sauvignon Blanc I enjoyed, so much so that I had to buy 2 bottles on my way out. I cannot wait to come back to this adorable place. And also, thank you again Mary, for my beautiful and relaxing afternoon, the exact thing I was looking for this Wednesday.
This is a “destination.” We live 65 miles away and we’ll be back. Excellent selection of wines. Best charcuterie we’ve ever enjoyed. Superb service by Mary, who knows her wines and really makes you feel relaxed and at home. This is an A, “don’t miss.”
Cute place for wine and cheese. No Texas wines and cheese had the taste of refrigerator and no napkins given. Otherwise, the experience was pleasant with good customer service allowing us to sample different wines before commiting to a glass. The back patio is calm and beautiful.
Neighborhood gem. This was a perfect spot before dinner. We grabbed a couple of glasses of wine & a cheese board outside on their patio and it was all fantastic. The waiter knew a lot about the menu & the wines and was very friendly. Great ambience outside on the patio. Will be coming back in the future
