I entered into a contract with T.C. Catlett to clear a mature lot on the outskirts of Fredericksburg in 2017. The contract was set for 1 year and would remove around 6 acres worth of trees (oak, maple, poplar, and pine trees) from the property. This would include mulching the branches, tops, and trees too small for other use. The wood would be sold to a local lumber mill with a majority of the proceeds going to Catlett. Almost a year later a subcontractor showed up to begin clearing the property. Since then I have had minimal contact from either Catlett or the subcontractor (Anthony’s Lawn/Landscaping & Tree Service). Here I am in 2020 with lumber and trash scattered across my property with no response from Catlett or the subcontractor. Estimated cost to clear the area so I can expand my pasture is in the 40K range. Absolutely unacceptable! I am at wits end trying to get resolution on this!
