I live in a new house, built less than a year ago, and there are solar companies knocking on doors, without training their young sales team adequately. I chose to NOT go with any of those, and instead, reached out to Freedom Solar. SO glad I did. These guys are what all businesses should be like. From Stephen, the guy that came to our house to go over options etc., to the communications, and the install crew, every one of them was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and very good at what they do. Stephen, the sales guy, went over options, explained everything on our level, and was clearly knowledgeable. Never tried to upsell, and made sure we were happy with our solution. Don, and Ashley, communicated everything very quickly and kept us abreast of what was happening all the way. The install crew did a wonderfully neat and professional looking job. I am SO glad they got everything installed before the recent freeze. Being able to rely on my solar install, with battery backup, was a MASSIVE weight off my shoulders. It's not often I'm impressed enough to write a review, but seriously, these guys don't just create satisfied customers, they create loyal customers. I will definitely be reaching out to them when I move, and it may be off the grid completely next time!

We had to replace our roof because of hail damage, which required the removal and replacement of our solar panels. The Freedom Solar service department made the process easy, and their roofing partner Highland Lakes did a beautiful job with the new roof. James Garbo in particular was awesome to work with!

Highly recommend Robert Bradshaw. He was very knowledgeable about everything and walked us through the whole process. Responsive to every follow up question and kept us informed about the installation process, and followed up with us at every step of the way. We have had solar panels up and functioning for a little over a month. Longest part of the process was waiting for the city to send out inspector and install the their portion of the solar meter. So far we are very pleased with the performance and design.

I enthusiastically recommend James Garbo and Freedom Solar. I worked with James to get SunPower solar panels installed on my roof shortly after moving to the Estates of Bauerle Ranch in May 2020. All meetings were done via video software and scheduled for times that were most convenient for us. James coordinated a roof replacement (ours was 16 years old) and the solar installation much faster than expected. The roof was replaced within a week of signing and the solar was installed less than 3 weeks later. Freedom Solar coordinated all the inspections and approvals necessary and we were connected and producing electricity less than two months after construction began. (My previous experience with solar installation took more than 4 months from signing to being connected to the grid.) If you're interested in going solar, I highly recommend SunPower and especially James at Freedom Solar. Tell him I sent you ;)
