So I talked to Andrew today and he was very knowledgeable and helped with many different things with several customers that we're here. I enjoy the store and the setup they had. It seems like they have everything you need here and many different choices. They also work on tanks and regulators and other equipment. They hold classes here and they even have organized Dives on the weekends. Great location

Promised my son that I'd take him fishing on a boat one day and ever since then, he's been dreaming about getting on a boat, fishing and maybe even driving for a moment. All that came true today with the help of Dive Spot and Captain Tom He provide most of the equipment and off we went. Tom was amazingly patient, helpful and took the time to explain where we're heading to and helped get us going. My son got to wear a captain's hat and take the controls for a bit. We caught 7 rockfish to take home and probably more than double that to 'catch and release' due to size. It was such a great experience and looking forward to going back out again soon. My son was also interested in scuba diving lessons which we will look at as he gets older. Scuba diving or fishing - check out Dive Spot and talk to Tom!
My friends and I bought 4 dry suits and also completed the course in Catalina. Ron did our pool season and was very thorough with his instructions. We were all very comfortable using these skills in our ocean dive with Steve. Highly recommend the dry suit course for anyone interested!
Tom and Andrew are very nice and knowledgeable. Most importantly they are humble and honest. I bought all my dive gear there, I highly recommend them for buying dive gear and for going on fun dives in Monterey
Hands down the best diving shop in the East bay. From open water to advanced certification and now working on rescue diving and deep diving all with Tom. He's extremely professional with over 20 years of experience and he's also very friendly and personable. I'm glad I chose this place for two main reasons. One being that I get to have someone like Tom as the instructor and two is that I didn't and won't ever have to dive with a crowd of students. Aside from just going through the curriculum, Tom actually cares about turning people into confident (not cocky) divers. Looking forward to becoming a dive master some day through learning from him
