Ron and his team were able to repair a small snag in my favorite vintage Aquascutum coat in this unique tweed fabric. The repair is as close to imperceptible as you can get. I’ve indicated the area that was fixed. This kind of repair highly specialized work and the pricing reflects that, but I felt it was fair. For vintage, bespoke, custom and other high end garments like wool overcoats and suits, that have been damaged by insects or a snag, I would recommend inquiring with French American if they can bring it back to tip top shape. My only regret with my experience is not taking a before photo for reference but I’ve tried to indicate the repair but it was a hole in the exterior fabric that was slightly smaller than a dime.

Excellent work and thank you Ryan! I did not believe my sweater with 5 moth-holes could be mended like brand-new but this place did it! It is a bit pricey but worth it!
Excellent service and decent pricing. Expertise is evident from just the estimate service itself. Honest appraisals and fast (in the few times I've used them). Much, much better than the three months I've waited for other companies' services. Work is professional and in the last occasion with a garment that had a very distinct sub-pattern, the work was flawless. Very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely use them in the future.
I brought two items with moth damage, a favorite cashmere wrap and my prized camel hair coat. Both items were repaired beautifully and I am thrilled! I highly recommend Ron and his team!
