This is the real deal. Amazing range of hot sauces with some really unique flavours. Super helpful and knowledgable proprietor who is clearly passionate about what they do here. After tasting a variety I picked up 3 bottles ranging from Mild, Medium and Hot. Each one I’ve never seen anywhere else before. Took them back to the UK and all sealed perfectly so no explosions in my luggage. Thanks. Will be back when next in LA!

Fuego Box Hot Sauce Store is a really great place to buy hot sauce here in Los Angeles. (I don't know exactly what neighborhood it's in. Mid-Wilshire? South Miracle Mile?) I personally can't handle any kind of hot sauce at all, nor do I have any desire to, but one of my best friends absolutely loves it - she might even dress up as a hot sauce bottle for Halloween this year. We always walked by this store when it was closed, so last weekend she made a special trip to hang out with me and for us to go while it was open. The store was so cool. Small, cozy, and full. I loved how they designed it and displayed everything. We spent about a half hour there, at least. The person working there, Alexandra, was a huge help to my friend, giving her samples, explaining things about different sauces, and telling her about different tasting events they hold. We walked out with two or three new sauces and a sample of something else. Very affordable too! This was a great store that makes me sorry I don't like hot sauce! I couldn't imagine a better store for those that do. Totally check this place out.

I recently ordered a box from them from the subscription website and I was all but disappointed in the hotness of the “pain seeker” box. Packaging was nice, included a piece of chocolate. I was seeking pain but did not find any. Reaper evil was hot, but nothing to be in pain over. The other two were mild at best. Customer service said I shouldn’t eat the reaper before trying the others: clearly that was supposed to be the hottest one and I didn’t try it first. All in all just a bit disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend for someone looking for some really hot sauces.

This was my first time I have ever been to this store and I have fallen in love with it. I called them 15 minutes before they were going to close to ask if they could wait for me to get there and they did! I bought Painapple with the recommendation that it's probably the hottest sauce in the store. And I have to say it's pretty hot. I honestly have eaten hotter but the flavor is absolutely amazing. It starts out sweet with the flavor of pineapple and honey and the kick builds up from the back of the throat forward. If you aren't ready for that kind of punch in the throat and then mouth then I wouldn't recommend it. I've almost used the entire bottle already because I love it so much! Great recommendation for fellow chilli heads! By the way I used it 15 minutes after buying it at Pink's Hotdogs on their bacon hotdog burrito. That's what this picture is from.

if I could give zero stars I would lmao. terrible experience from the moment i placed my order. you call their phone # and the person on the other line has no idea how to accommodate your order. best part is when i finally received the order (all star fuego box) in the mail, 2/5 of the sauces i ordered were EXPIRED. it's pretty embarrassing when you hand this over as a gift. now when i try to call the establishment i can not get anyone on the phone, it goes straight to their unprofessional voicemail. don't even risk ordering from here. UPDATE: since my first review clearly missed out on many important details. let me clarify them for the OWNER who clearly isn’t looking to keep a customer. The first time I called it was to change the email address for the confirmation and to ADD a note for the gift. The lovely Jenna from your customer service team was not able to edit the email address the first try. She told me she had handled it but soon enough (10 mins later) I was back on the phone asking if she could do it again because I had not received any emails. After I had finally received my package, my coworkers and I noticed that the 2 of the bottles said “BB” and an expired date. Which I think anyone knows that means “Best Before Dates.” I was appalled, this could have made any one of us very ill. After realizing this I called fuego box over FIVE times and left MULTIPLE voicemails. I was trying to communicate with a human being over the phone for days and no one returned my phone call until AFTER i left this review. At that point I did not feel like dealing with you guys. If you believe this is a way to run a business, you have it very twisted. Thank you for your very rude response MIKE FOUNDER AT FUEGO BOX.
