2-4-2021 checked out the bird sanctuary, they had it cleaned up and it looks Wonderful, you can get a much better view from the blinds we saw many birds a Large Osprey eating a fish and a Caracara Falcon and a yellow dumped wren and many more

This place would probably be great for birding at the right time of year. I didn't see any birds. It had a very nice bird blind
Good small site with a drip to attract migrants. The day we visited things were slow, but not the fault of the site. Still pulled out some excellent birds at mid-day, including Blue Grosbeaks, a White-tailed Kite and a Painted Bunting, and the habitat is excellent. Definitely worth the visit.
The staff members are really nice when we went to volunteer! The sanctuary is a great place to see birds too!
Small, quiet, no birds on a Saturday at noon. Enjoyed the plant life. I would not drive out of your way to see it though.
Fabulous up-close encounters with so many types of water birds. Great viewing sites here. Loved watching them fish at sunset. I went up San Jacinto Drive to see these graceful birds in action. Plenty of candid action where the road runs alongside the water.
Small little place but great.
