My experience at Gander was great. They had a travel trailer we requested all setup for my family and I to look at when we arrived. Funny, we found a completely different trailer walking through the lot that we found to be perfect for the family. Andrew was a great help getting it ready for us and the sales team helped make it work within our budget. Already out on our first camping trip and it was amazing! Thanks Gander for the awesome service.

Our camper received storm damage so we took it here to get it fixed. They had our camper for 10 months due to \waiting on metal material\ which is understandable. When we went to pick it up we noticed one of the bumpers that attaches to the toy hauler door was missing. We notified the service dept manager (James Immel)right then. He said he would order the part and have it shipped to us. (We live 4 hours away). No problem there except on the invoice it showed the bumper was replaced and fixed (and a copy of the invoice was sent to our insurance company)....we can replace a bumper ourselves so not a big deal. After about 2 weeks I had to call because we hadn't received replacement part. It had never been ordered. Finally the GM ordered it and had it overnighted but the ones we got were not the right ones so i had to call back and we finally got the right ones. After we got the camper home and got to looking it over, we noticed the metal was replaced with white caulk and the rest of the camper has clear caulk which makes it look much worse. And on the inside of the camper we noticed water marks from where it had got wet somehow....this damage was not there before we dropped it off. But the white caulk not only on the side but on the top also...it makes it look so tacky and horrible!! Will never take anything to them to touch again!!
Michael Carter was excellent to deal with and very patient with how long it took to arrange the purchase. All delays were Covid-19 related. He was always on top of everything and if we had a question he couldn’t answer, he took the time to find the answer. I highly recommend him and the Dothan Gander RV.
Shane was amazing to my husband and I as we began our search for our first travel trailer. He shared knowledge of brands and models that would work for us. Shane was patient with us coming to tour on 3 different occasions in the cold and rain. If you’re looking for a travel trailer I would recommend going to see Shane!
Two issues so far. I bought a 2020 Pioneer Hartland RV from Gandar RV In Dothan, Alamana. 1st issue I had (minor issue) was the back light on the stereo went out. They told me that I would have to pull my camper down there for them to take a look at it. I mentioned, it would be much easier for them to come out to where its located (4 miles). They refused. So I called the manufacturer, they told me to take it to the dealer. So I lost there........... Now the awning broke today, we will see how they treat me. If you look at the screws that attached the awning channel, it's obvious they where installed in an angle, and cross threaded. Let's see if they respond. Remember, not even a year old. Oh, one more thing I need to mention, they assured me the awning has a safety measure built in that would not it allow it to fail. Well, this looks like a failure. The sales person who sold it to me would surely testify to this. Again, well see what happened. I'll keep posting.
