I parked in one of the curbside pickup spaces. The sign said to text a code to a number. I did. Nothing. Looked at the email. It said visit this webpage. Opened it on my phone. Nothing. 30 minutes. Employees were moving around the front of the store, in & out, not looking my way. I finally managed to flag down an employee. She took my order number but told me the had had no notification from or about me. I asked her to please check for my order, pull it if necessary. She went away. It had been 45 minutes since I arrived. I'm sitting under a very hot sun in the middle of a large parking lot wating...waiting...wating. Eventually she wheels out my order accompanied by a young man. Together we load it, and they quickly take off, not helping me to secure it even though it sticks out the back of the SUV. Back up: the first of the two large boxes is pretty torn up. "It's ok," she said. "Let me get a picture in case it's damaged inside the box," I said. [below] It was MANGLED. So, North Lilburn Home Depot dumped their damaged stock on me? These shelves are UNUSABLE! This is warehouse-damage. The Manufacturer didn't ship this product in this condition. There are a lot of parts: if I had opened thebox I could not have easily transported it hanging out of the SUV I'd borrowed. Now I have to find a way to get it back, and deal with the return.... From waiting in the parking lot, to a broken pickup/web notification system, to barely helpful employees to dumping mangled goods on a pre-paid customer... I would avoid North Lilburn Home Depot until they step up their game.
