Lynn has an amazing collection of tools that you won't find anywhere else. He, his wife, Tracey, and their adorable sweetheart of a dog - Clancy, might as well be on a picturesque greeting card that says \What Americana looks like.\ Lynn was able to find me a mid-1940s Stanley Works / North Bros. 130A \Yankee\ Spiral Screwdriver in superb condition (spring worked like brand-new) with the even more rare driver bits included. Pretty much zero rust. All paint on the wood handle intact and nearly flawless! My wife picked up a well-made brass blade GE fan that she is planning on restoring. Will definitely be back in the near future!

This place is a woodworker's dream. The selection of old-timey tools is amazing. And everything looked to be in very good shape. Prices are excellent. I would go back often.
Awesome place! Owner helped my son and I pick out an old 19th century Millers Falls multi-tool. It will make a great Christmas gift for my dad. Dowd's Tools is a neat place just walk around and see some cool vintage tools. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for vintage tools, cans, etc. Call before you head over to make sure the owner (Lynn) is there, you'll want his expert advice when walking around and making your selection.
What a great place! Excellent selection of usable antique tools, tool cabinets, machinist tool chests with tools. Great prices and knowledgeable, hospitable owners. Take a moment to look at the posted pictures for an idea of the selection. Can't wait for the spring sale.
