The distillery also offers live music, Appalachian storytelling, and outdoor adventure tours in the Sugarlands, an area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park historically known as “moonshiners’ paradise.” The company is East Tennessee-owned, with a focus on improving the local community through a variety of events and charitable giving. Sugarlands Distilling Co. opened its downtown Gatlinburg distillery in March 2014 to perform the age-old craft of distilling fine Sugarlands Shine. Its authentic spirits, barn-house location, and first-class entertainment offer visitors the complete Tennessee moonshine experience. Sugarlands is the best! We went to a few distillery’s and you get the most tastings for 5 here, not to mention a 5 voucher toward your purchase. Stephanie was amazing and very informative. If you’re in to moonshine or want to try something different this is the best place to go!

A great tourist attraction! If you enjoy alcohol or enjoy watching your significant other or mom/dad pucker up after a shot of moonshine, then the tasting is for you. The tasting specialists have their own one liners that make it enjoyable and will have you laughing the whole time. If you plan on buying anything it's worth it as the 5 for the tasting as that 5 credit can go towards a purchase. The tastings also help you with flavors if you've never had moonshine (or haven't tried the seasonal ones).

Loved this place!!! Customer service was off the wall (way better then ole' Smokey distillery). 5 for 13 sample taste and 5 off a jar of your choice along with my first responder discount.....you can't beat that. You have to go buy and visit this place...I promise you won't be disappointed.

This was awesome. Loved the tour Connie was the best tour guide explained everything perfect. Token did our tasting he was perfect. Explained how to drink the moonshine for the best flavor. Must do! Would do again! 30.00 tour for 2 came with 2 drinks and tasting, and 5 coupon off for purchase each person. AWESOME!
