Johnny was awesome and made sure to put my fourteen year old son on fish even though the water was crazy high and he had to work extra. Highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a great day wading after rainbows.

The guide was amazing! For myself being a beginner to fly fishing I learned a lot and was able to catch a couple nice rainbows as well as a couple babies. My girlfriend, a first timer, caught a baby and a very nice rainbow. She was determined to catch the biggest fish and she did! It was hard work getting to and from some of the spots but that’s exactly what we signed up for when we decided to get expert guidance on fly fishing in the smokies! Definitely will be using this guide service for future trips! Thank you so much for an amazing day on the rivers!

Had booked a full day wade fishing trip and it was great. I HAD NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE! Jesse was so patient in teaching me the ropes. Every time I snagged something or something went wrong, I was so sorry but he was more than happy to get it straightened out, or switching up the flies to find what is working on that particular day in that area. When we began, he gave us the option of several rivers to go to, we chose going up the Greenbrier road and it did not disappoint. As you can imagine, it is fairly intense wading in rushing water and slick rocks, but it was all worth it when the first fish was caught. It took me the morning to figure out halfway what I was doing and then the fish started coming. Kudos to this outfitter for having awesome guides. Tips - wear gym clothes or anything that dries quickly (I did, I got wet, aka fell in the river several times - brought a good laugh). Show up and be ready to be frustrated when things go wrong - it will work out, the guides will make sure of it! Overall this felt like a once in a lifetime experience! If you’re unsure, do some research or call and talk to one of their guides directly. They do such an awesome job and you’re bound to have a great time. Thank you for the experience!
