When people say siteman is a great facility, it really is. I've been here multiple times for treatment and the services is always great! The doctors, nurses, and staff are super friendly and caring. The place is clean inside and out and they take precautions of everything especially with our ongoing pandemic. I have never seen so many genuine people all in one place. I am most likely a forever patient here.

The actual care givers were dedicated and caring. The front office staff is impossible to work with. Two social workers who do not communicate with one another about their patients or cover for one another in each others’ day off. Their goal is to find a facility, any facility, that will take the patient when they are discharged in two weeks. Once a totally inappropriate facility said “yes”, I was left on my own to find an acceptable facility for my wife. They didn’t even apply to the facility I requested or the one that actually took her - they knew who wouldn't turn anyone down and closed the file.

The staff was hard to communicate with and it was a terrible experience for me and my mother. It was like a prison and scary for my mom, and frustrating and stressful for me because they wouldn't communicate, educate, or relate to me concerning my mother's treatment. I could go on and on, but if you take a loved one there, make sure first that you get to sit down and talk with them about what your loved one needs, what they plan to do, what to expect, and how to deal with it at home. I wasn't given that. It was a 12 day nightmare for me and it affected my mom too. She wasn't herself when she got home physically or mentally.

The doctor there has no clue what he is doing! When I was there they tried to overdose me after I continually told them I can’t take that high of a dose because i was on that dose before and my blood work comes back with too high of a level ! I left there 3 days later and never did get the right meds! Then on my discharge papers they put a diagnosis that definitely wasn’t right and they never even gave me any meds for that diagnosis! Very very unorganized facility!!
