My fiancee and I visited this store last weekend for the first time and were super impressed! Shamus the shop dog is my new best friend and the owner's were extremely nice as well as all the staff! This is our new favorite spot for exotic wood for my fiancee's woodworking projects! I even made friends with some of the customer! Overall a wonderful experience and looking forward to our next trip!

My son and I took the introduction to woodworking course. It was fantastic. Perfect balance of instruction and hands on experience. Well worth the money and time. Highly recommend!! The. Instructor recommended 3 coats of Arm-R-Seal general satin finish, scuff sanded with 400 grit in between coats. See picture for final results. Update: We also took the beginning lathe class with David Sterling. It was a great class. It was great watching YouTube videos with a little experience under our belt from the class. Suggestion: please consider making seating available for the lathe class :)
