GDL is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the fourth restaurant of the Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Offering a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers from around the world, we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special. I loved the macaroni and cheese!! It was very flavorful and creamy. However, I paid 6 extra for crab and lobster and only got two pieces of it. Also, the fresh baked bread didn't taste that fresh. Plus an additional 1 each for butter and honey was a ripoff.

It was awesome. Every single time, Gorgonzola pasta is worth eating. The service is very peculiar, well, if I’m not mistaken I usually meet there with the owner of Bacari GDL, and you know that feeling when you see a very welcoming and friendly owner. That’s the feeling I like the most.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Every course was fantastic. We sat outside with heaters and it was great. The only downside is there are several extremely loud cars that like to run up and down the street during dinner making it quite a nuisance but that’s more of a Glendale problem not a restaurant problem. My boyfriend said it was the best meal we’ve ever eaten and we’ve visited several Michelin restaurants and a James Beard restaurant. Very very pleased.

This restaurant is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a special lunch, this place comes straightaway to my mind. superb and varied food and a rich cuisine.great team, and great vibes. Not less important, the cost is modest. I recommend this spot with no hesitation.
