Appalling experience. I picked up a 26 foot rental truck before sunrise and did not notice at first that the driver seat was completely torn. The batteries did not last through two engine starts, because - as I later found out - the light only turned off with running engine, but not after the engine is stopped. Five calls into roadside assistance were a waste of time, as there was absolutely no willingness to help, unless I was prepared to delay my 1700 miles trip by 2-3 days. See photo (metal spring poking through, back of seat is a bare metal bar) Stay away.
This specific location for Budget / Avis is one I've dealt with for years. Mary & Hope are always extremely helpful and curteous. They have never given me anything but stellar service.
This is a very nice car rental center in Glendale, Az. We got a 2020 Toyota Camry. Nice driving vehicle. Very nice employees working.
The car I was provided was not prepped to be rented. The alignment was off. The touch screen monitor was cracked so I wasn't able to control the radio on my 11-hour round trip and it made it difficult to use the rear-view camera as well. There was no window wiper fluid, so the windshield was covered in bugs obstructing my view until I stopped to gas up. They only positive is the car was clean inside.
