Great school. Administration is active and because of the small size, you can meet with your advisor constantly and plan your school life. It is very easy to pass classes as they have programs like tutoring to help bring your grade up and get you to pass. Also, the school teaches a lot about college, so coming out of this school, I will be sure to know what college life is. They help you apply for scholarships and colleges. Good preparatory school, would recommend.

I only gave two stars cus the area the school is located isn't fantastic. I think if you want your kids to be driven mostly by education and to be a CEO of a company one day this is a great school. There isn't a wide variety the arts being integrated into the curriculum for those students who are interested or excel in those areas. My daughter was in the middle school , and because the campus is combined with the high school I feel she has been exposed to more mature subject matter a lot quicker. I also don't like the constant communication between students and teachers after school .. doesn't seem to be a good boundary.
This school is an educational disappointment. The staff changes on average 1 teacher per month leaving your student with a sub-par education and very loose standards. *****Update 2 months later *****************Could not be happier that we left this school my child's new school the standards are higher there is actually work that needs to be done to educate the student on a daily basis. If you are frustrated with this establishment or are new and looking at them as a prospect. Take the advice from this parents experience and move forward on another opportunity.
My girls have been students of Desert Heights since they were in Kindergarten with one year break due to a move in homes. During that one year break they attended a public school in a great neighborhood, but the school and community of Desert Heights just can't be beat, they were re enrolled the very next school year. My girls are both very active in sports and also participate in the accelerated class programs offered. We are extremely fortunate to have found this school!
My son has been with Desert Heights since Kindergarten, he is now a Freshman. I absolutely love this school and the staff. You've been a major part in helping me teach the wonderful man he is growing up to be. I really can't thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU Desert Heights Staff!
