Awesome. I usually don't like to use anything but grey hound and the go busses in NYC are more than horrible. But I have to say. The Organisation and the busses in miami are great. Super clean, on time, no complications with tickets and friendly drivers. We took the express bus from Miami Beach to key west. Was really comfortable without any further stops than downtown miami and then key west. Would do it again for sure.
My son's school contracted Academy for their annual school field trip to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Upon returning, Florida Highway Patrol did a inspection, 3 of the 4 buses failed (no Drivers License, expired tags, unable to prove mandatory rest). As a result, the kids were not allowed back on the buses, replacement buses were sent from Orlando to pick them up. My son returned home 4 AM.
We disembarked from the EURODAM of Holland America Line (HAL) last Sunday 21 March 2016. We had arranged through HAL our transfer from the ship to Fort Lauderdale airport which was provided by ACADEMY BUS. The driver appeared to be confused with respect to individual passengers destinations. Passengers were destined to both Fort Lauderdale and Miami airports and the tags on our luggage clearly indicated this. I saw my suitcase being loaded on the bus prior to departure from the cruise terminal but alas upon arrival at Fort Lauderdale airport my bag was missing. i was informed by a HAL representative that my suitcase had been found at the cruse ship terminal. The bus driver was a complete idiot who barely spoke English and even got lost on the way from the cruise terminal to Fort Lauderdale airport despite warnings from passengers that he had missed the exit to the airport. I am still waiting for my bag. Next time I will take a taxi from the ship to the airport. HAL charged us 38.00 for this nightmare and we found out later from a fellow passenger that their taxi ride from the ship to the airport cost them only 20.00. Thisbus driver should be fired.
HORRIBLE. We are a tour operator based in Miami with 35 years in the market. We booked a Trf In at Miami Airport for 51 people. When the group arrived, the person in charge of the group called several times to the number given to us (for the pick up of the group) and nobody answered, and bus never went to pick up pour passengers. We had to pay 500 dollars for taxis PLUS the service pre-paid to this company - total of 875. The clients asked for a compensation but this bus company refused to compensate (they only wanted to pay the difference between the Trf In and the taxis... ONLY 125 ... while we paid 875 for this service. They are not serious at al... they lost a good client for a few dollars ??... I DO NOT RECCOMMEND using Academy Company
