I really loved the Gotetsu here! The broth was delicious and well balanced. The cream Gotetsu are interesting and fun to try, although it was pretty rich in taste so I'd recommend splitting it since I probably wouldn't be able to finish a whole of it on my own. The restaurant is cozy and cute, and we didn't have a problem getting a table for 5 on a weeknight.

There isn't much that needs to be said here. Simply the best of the best. I live in inner sunset and come here all the time, and I've never left unhappy. In fact, it sort of blows me away every time (like, why do I eat other food at all?)

Mediocre food, very bad service. Waitress took the order and went to eat herself. Came to ask if everything okay twice while I was chewing. The only good thing I can say about this place, it's quiet.

Delicious izakaya-style Japanese food, and vegetarian friendly. Delicious selection of sake. Welcoming and friendly staff, and service was fast. A small, cozy spot. I can't wait to come back!

I can't believe I've lived so close to this place for a year and just went for the first time. Holy cow! That was amazing! Everything we tried was SO flavorful. The atmosphere was intimate and it wasn't too loud. We sat at the bar and got to watch them make everything we ate. Really well priced for the quality of the food. We will definitely be coming here frequently.
